18 More Remote Laboratories to be Established in Armenia as a Result of the International Call for Proposals
The list of research projects eligible for funding under the "Adjunct Research Professorship Program (Remote Laboratory)—2024" has been published.
As a result of the Call, 18 research projects submitted by groups of 2-5 members and principal investigators from abroad as adjunct research professors will be carried out over the upcoming 5 years.
During the first 2 years, new scientific units, i.e., remote laboratories, will be established under the umbrella of the host organization where the research Project will be carried out. This is one of the main goals of the Call.
At the same time, the Call will contribute to promoting domestic and international cooperation, attracting the research potential of the Diaspora, involving young researchers and graduate students, and integrating young researchers into the international research area, among other things.
This Call is held for the third time. According to the results of the two previous Calls, 15 and 18 research topics were funded, respectively.
The maximum amount of funding for each project is 130 million AMD.
