A Joint Call for Proposals to be announced in the framework of Armenian-Georgian research cooperation
The Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia (Committee) and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (Foundation) will launch an international Call for the support of joint research projects conducted by the Georgian and Armenian research groups. The Call will be organized in accordance with the provisions of the Programme on “Cooperation in Science and Technologies” signed by the Armenian and Georgian counterparts on 7 June 2023.
The purpose of the Call is to support joint research projects in the fields of "Natural Sciences", "Engineering and Technology", "Medical Sciences", "Agricultural Sciences" and "Social Sciences and Humanities (in particular Armenian Studies and Georgian Studies) by fostering the mobility of researchers.
Project proposals will be elaborated jointly by Armenian and Georgian research groups and will be submitted for evaluation and approval simultaneously to the Committee and Foundation, respectively. The proposals will be independently evaluated and approved by each of the two Parties, following their own rules and regulations. The projects approved by both counterparts will receive funding.
