Call for proposals "Effective Researcher-2016" completed
The session of the professional expert council, coordinating the selection and distribution of bonus payments to the highly effective researchers, involved in scientific and technical programs and projects under state budget financing, took place on September 15. The session was chaired by the head of the council, RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan.
Chairman of the State Committee on Science Samvel Harutyunyan referred to the call for proposals as being competitive and transparent and presented its brief summary, particularly mentioning that the received applications represented 6 different fields of science, the most high-scoring of which was the field of natural sciences.
According to Samvel Harutyunyan, the assessment process was mainly based on the activity of the scientist.
It should be mentioned as well that the call for proposals is held on annual basis and covers all the fields and specialties of scientific and technological activities. As a result of the call for proposals, up to 100 highly effective researchers, involved in scientific and technical programs and projects under state budget financing, will be granted a 1-year bonus payment of AMD 135 000 on a monthly basis.
