Visit to the PRC
The Chairman of the RA MES State Committee of Science, S. Harutyunyan, went toChina’sTianjincity to attend the annual event “Annual Meeting of the New Champions” organised on September 10-12, which was attended by government officials, heads of large enterprises, representatives of business and academic circles from more than 90 countries.
Since 2007, this annual event is organised by the World Economic Forum.
The motto of the meeting in 2014 was “To create values through innovation”. It focused on discussing plans and development of economic progress through science and innovation. In “Science and Technology”, “Innovation and Industry” sections, issues were discussed aimed at creating an interactive cooperation platform. The latter is assumed to create an environment where the world’s fastest growing enterprises will be given opportunities to develop and implement joint programmes aimed at production and trade development.
