The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Higher Education and Science Committee

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Rohde & Schwarz International GmbH (Germany) and CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute during the “Open Day at CANDLE” on the 18^th of July 2018. The President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, RA Vice-Minister of Education and Science Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Chairman of Science Committee of RA Samvel Haroutiunian were present during the signing ceremony.

On September 22-26, 2018, the 19th Congress of the European Section of the International Society of Toxinology, concerning the issues of "Research and Clinical Aspects of Animal, Plant and Microbiological Toxins", will be held at L. Orbeli Institute of Physiology NAS RA in Yerevan.

The Science Committee MES RA together with CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute is organizing an open day for the citizens of Armenia, foreign guests and the mass media representatives on the 18^th of July at CANDLE Institute.

On March 26, the delegation headed by RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan took part in the International Conference on "25 Years of a New Era of JINR" within the framework of a two-day official visit to Moscow.

On September 9, the delegation of the State Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, headed by the Chairman Samvel Haroutiunian, visited Artsakh to discuss issues related to science, and, in particular to get acquainted with the process of scientific research carried out in Artsakh Scientific Center.
