The work present an analytical review of different interpretations of the Armenian Genocide from a linguocognitive standpoint which gives us a chance to study the textual mechanisms of expressing various attitudes towards the issue and reveal the implicit intents of the autors often means to veil the pre-planned genocidal nature of the horrendous events at the beginning of the 20th century in Western Armenia. Some autors’ skillful manipulation of language elements helps them to falsify historical facts and relieve the Turkish governement of the responsibility for the unprecedented events.
