The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Higher Education and Science Committee

On November 13, the Chairman of the RA MES SCS, S. Harutyunyan, hosted representatives and experts of the UN Economic Commission for Europe, who arrived in Yerevan in order to participate in a presentation on Armenia’s innovation development report.

An annual (current) report expertise of scholar topics in the scope of the contract (thematic) funding of scholar and scientific-technological activities has been held in the RA MES State Committee of Science.

Serzh Sargsyan familiarized with the works of the first phase of CANDLE, the AREAL Project, and the institute’s international cooperation projects at the hall where the AREAL linear accelerator is located.

The list of scholarly research topics ensured to be financed for the purpose of contract (thematic) funding – announced on May 5 – of scientific and technological activities in the spheres of “natural sciences” and “engineering and technology” have been summarised and approved according to N 27- Ա/Ք order of the Chairman of the RA MES State Committee of Science, October 28, 2014. 

On October 6-9, in the Italian city Trieste, the Chairman of the RA MES State Committee of Science, S. Harutyunyan, participated in an event organised for the 50^th anniversary of the Abdus Salaam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), which was attended by more than 250 scientists from around the world.
