Eurasian Association to be established
On June 30-July 2, the Head of Staff of the RA MES State Committee of Science Levon Mardoyan took part in the international meeting dedicated to the signing of the memorandum of understanding on the ''Establishment of the Eurasian Association on Scientific Research Support'', held in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The meeting was organized by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, and hosted representatives of the six countries of the Eurasian region: Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Russia.
The parties discussed the key issues related to the cooperation between the member states, opportunities of organizing joint calls and funding multilateral research projects, as well as considered the perspectives of fostering scientific integration, enhancing the progress in the sphere of research and innovation in the Eurasian region and expanding the geography of the association. As a result, the science funding organizations of the six states of the Eurasian region signed a memorandum of understanding on the ''Establishment of the Eurasian Association on Scientific Research Support''.
