The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Higher Education and Science Committee

President Sargsyan underscored that Armenia within the limits of her ability is enhancing comprehensively the development of sciences and encourages development in the Armenian economy of the science-based branches.

The session of the professional expert council, coordinating the selection and distribution of bonus payments to the highly effective researchers, involved in scientific and technical programs and projects under state budget financing, took place on September 15. 

On July 2-7, the Deputy Chairman of the RA MES State Committee of Science Vardan Sahakyan attended the meeting of newly established Silk Road High-Tech Park Alliance, held in Yantai, China.

On June 30-July 2, the Head of Staff of the RA MES State Committee of Science Levon Mardoyan took part in the international meeting dedicated to the signing of the memorandum of understanding on the ''Establishment of the Eurasian Association on Scientific Research Support'', held in Moscow, Russian Federation.

On June 27, the Chairman of the RA MES State Committee for Science Mr. Samvel Haroutiunian signed a cooperation agreement with the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology (also known as the Bortnik Foundation in honor of its founder) in Moscow, Russian Federation.
