The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Higher Education and Science Committee

The official delegation of Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), headed by Prof. Helmut Dosch, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DESY in Hamburg, visited Armenia (10-13 October).

President Armen Sarkissian received today representatives of the famous German DESY Research Center and its partners from the Yerevan CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute and representatives of A. Alikhanian National Scientific Lab.

The 4^th Eastern Partnership E-Infrastructure (EaPEC 2019) Conference with the slogan “Connecting with Culture” will be held at the Matenadaran Conference Hall on September 25-26, 2019.

The 2nd International Workshop on “Ultrafast Beams and Applications” will be held on 2-5 July 2019 at CANDLE Institute in Armenia.

On  April 23-25, 2019, Samvel Haroutiunian, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, participated in the 24rd session of Interstate Council for Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation (IC STI), held in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Samvel Haroutiunian, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia visited Minsk (Republic of Belarus) from 4 to 7 March 2019 to take part in the Workshop on “Promoting innovative, high-growth enterprises in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus”.

On 25 January 2019, Samvel Haroutiunian, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia hosted the delegation of the National Research Council of the Italian Republic headed by Massimo Inguscio, President of the National Research Council.
