The RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Higher Education and Science Committee

Samvel Haroutiunian, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia visited Minsk (Republic of Belarus) from 4 to 7 March 2019 to take part in the Workshop on “Promoting innovative, high-growth enterprises in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus”.

On 25 January 2019, Samvel Haroutiunian, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia hosted the delegation of the National Research Council of the Italian Republic headed by Massimo Inguscio, President of the National Research Council.

On 29 November 2018, Samvel Haroutiunian, Chairman of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia, participated in the 23^rd session of Interstate Council for Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation, held in Minsk.

On 4 December 2018, the RA MES Science Committee hosted the group of scientists from the University of Hamburg and the DESY research center. The main purpose of the visit was to introduce the new exchange program within the frames of the cooperation with CANDLE SRI.

Тhe National Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia organize “30 years after Spitak Earthquake:Experience and Perspectives” International Conference dedicated to the devastating 1988 Spitake arthquake occurred in north Armenia. The conference is  being held with in the frameworks of the 75th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Rohde & Schwarz International GmbH (Germany) and CANDLE Synchrotron Research Institute during the “Open Day at CANDLE” on the 18^th of July 2018. The President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, RA Vice-Minister of Education and Science Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Chairman of Science Committee of RA Samvel Haroutiunian were present during the signing ceremony.
